I Dreamed a Dream: Prepare to be Blown Away by the BBC’s All-Star Les Misérables Series Cast

There’s been many an adaptation of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables, including Tom Hooper’s Oscar-winning 2012 musical, but the BBC just upped its game with a mind-blowing cast for the miniseries that starts shooting next month. Written by Andrew Davies (House of Cards, Mr Selfridge, Bleak House, The Three Musketeers), and directed by Tom Shankland (The Punisher, Luke Cage, House of Cards, The Leftovers,  Ripper Street), the stars of this six-part drama are almost too good to believe.

Dominic West as Jean Valjean

David Oyelowo as  Javert

Lily Collins as Fantine

Olivia Colman as Madame Thénardier

Adeel Akhtar (The Night Manager, Victoria & Abdul, Utopia, Ghosted) as Monsieur Thénardier

Josh O’Connor (Peaky Blinders, God’s Own Country, Ripper Street) as Marius

Erin Kellyman (Uncle, Raised by Wolves) as Eponine
