George Clooney’s Coenesque Suburbicon Finds Matt Damon and Oscar Isaac Going Head to Head

The first thing you’ll think watching (director) George Clooney’s Suburbicon trailer is:  Hey, this looks a heck of a lot like a Coen Brothers movie; ol’ George must’ve been studying hard, picked up that vibe and came up with his own slant. Matt Damon gets hit with a load of violent shit, and he’s damned well not gonna take it anymore. Check it:

Pop off to the credits and what do you know, Joel and Ethan Coen wrote the script, and that settles that. This one’s on the list. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that a certain handsome fella got himself involved (again) …

Suburbicon stars Damon, Isaac, Julianne Moore, Josh Brolin and Glenn Fleshler; it hits TIFF (September 7 – 17) , and US theaters, November 7th. Let there be dancing!
