I Was Wrong About the Robots; This Is Worse: Rupture Takes Noomi Rapace Down the Most Terrifying Road

I’m starting to think Noomi Rapace is the David Cronenberg of actors, what with her apparent affinity for body horror. And, you know how I’m constantly warning about A.I. and how the robots are going to kill us all?

I was wrong. Well, I’m sure I wasn’t entirely wrong because I know those effers are out to get us, but this is probably worse — and it’s probably also a behind the curtain reality.

Rupture — which btw, if you foolishly thought “Oh, maybe it’s about the flat tire!” you’re wrong — comes to us from the adorably (ha ha, laugh now) offbeat director of one of our favorite ever films, Secretary,

and it also involves restraints, but not in that sexy, yeah! way you’re thinking.

This is more a terrifying, holy fork, what is happening kind of way and well, just watch.

Did you scream? Are you screaming? Everyone, please scream with me! This is a nightmare …

Co-starring Peter Stormare,Michael Chiklis, Lesley Manville, Kerry Bishé and Ari Millen, Steven Shainberg’s Rupture hits theaters April 28th. Hang on to your G10 12 X.
