After meeting Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, we knew his standalone film would be on our must-see list, but I don’t think any of us could have predicted how glorious a cast Marvel would round up. I have a feeling Boseman’s steady, sleek Panther will provide a measured and thrilling superhero film (hopefully, with a few less explosions) as compared to our volatile Avengers. Check out the official synopsis, and then feast your eyes on the rest of Black Panther‘s incredible cast.
Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
